Schulte Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home has been serving Lyndhurst, South Euclid & Chagrin Falls area families for years. We are honored to be a part of the rich history of this community and plan to be a part of it for many years to come.

The current Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Homes began with the merger of two individual funeral homes with a combined history of over 125 years of service to the people of greater Cleveland.

In 1975, The Joseph C. Schulte Funeral Homes, with a main office in South Euclid, were purchased by The Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home of East Cleveland to form the current operation. Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Homes are currently noted as being one of Cleveland's finest and most caring facilities.

We welcomed the Nicol-Wells-Kloss Funeral Home into our family in 1992. Their prominence in the Protestant community and their involvement in the Masonic and Eastern Star orders gives both funeral homes the ability to serve the Greater Cleveland area with a greater attention to detail and personal service.

In 2015, we opened our newest location, Murphy Funeral Home, at 95 South Franklin St. in the historic village of Chagrin Falls. With this location, we are better able to serve families in Chagrin Falls, Bainbridge, Solon and the surrounding areas.

Our directors are well-trained professionals who consider each funeral an individual tribute to the life of the deceased. The relationship we establish allows us to serve individuals of all faiths, ethnic backgrounds and family life styles. Each funeral service becomes a personalized service to honor the deceased and create a lasting memory for the family, relatives and friends.

We are available 24 hours a day to answer any questions you might have regarding our services. Our beautiful community rooms are available for luncheons after the services and for use by community groups and clubs to hold meeting and gatherings.

Our three family-owned and operated funeral homes have served hundreds of families over the years. We value the trust and confidence families have placed in us, and pledge to continue offering exceptional services to families in their time of need. We have made many lasting friendships, and look forward to doing the same with you and your family.
