DOROTHY KITZMILLER, age 84, passed away June 9, 2018. Dorothy was one of fourteen children and is survived by her brother, Michael Mikulin. Preceded in death by her son, Mark Kitzmiller, she leaves behind four daughters, Barbara (Peter) Kinczel, Laurinda (Edward) Bohnert, Joyce Kitzmiller and Eva Kitzmiller; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was extremely proud of her career as an LPN at the Cleveland Clinic. She began her career at the age of 40 and enjoyed the next 22 years in a variety of departments including ENT and Radiology Oncology.
A lifelong animal lover, Dorothy adopted several cats throughout her life and was especially close to her two dog companions, Pup (deceased) and Petey, who never left her side these past five years.
In lieu of flowers, Dorothy’s family kindly asks that donations be made to one of the following charities: Cleveland Clinic Hospice, 6801 Brecksville Rd., Ste 10, Independence, OH 44131 or The Salvation Army of Cleveland, 2507 E. 22nd St., Cleveland, OH 44115.
Funeral Service Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (between Richmond and Brainard). Interment Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends AT THE FUNERAL HOME MONDAY, JUNE 11 FROM 4 TO 8 P.M.
