VINCENT F. KELLEHER, age 95, of Burton and Chardon, went home to the Lord on January 25, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Jeanne (nee Smolik) and will be greatly missed by his children: Chris Kelleher, Kathy Young (Bill), Mary Clare Patterson (Woodie), Maureen Gilmore (Jeff) and Kevin Kelleher (Patty); grandchildren: Morgan Eddy (Chris), Kyle (Emily), Kelli Moore (Shawn), Kate Dordick (Justin), Ryan Young, Chip (Kristy), Briggs (Sarah) and Liz Patterson, Taylor, Corey (Megan), Courtney (fiancé Ian Whelan), Caitlin Gilmore, Erin Roberts (Tracy), Kelsey and Connor Kelleher; and great-grandchildren: Barnes, S.J., Carter, Benjamin, Coen, Tierney, Jack and Riley. Vince was preceded in death by his dear sister Dorothy and was a cherished uncle and godfather to many. He was a distinguished gentleman who devoted his life to God, Family and Philanthropy. A World War II Navy officer and retired attorney, he was instrumental in creating the Geauga County Transit System and served on numerous boards and organizations such as Burton Library, United Way, Catholic Charities, East Geauga Kiwanis (65 years), Knights of Columbus and Kent State University. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Vince to St. Helen’s Church, 12060 Kinsman Rd., Newbury, OH 44065. Funeral Mass Saturday February 3, 2018 at St. Helen’s Church at 11:00 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.) Entombment at All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends at GATTOZI AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 12524 CHILLICOTHE RD., CHESTER TWP., FRIDAY FEBRUARY 2, from 3-7 P.M.
