JOHN MICHAEL SIMCOX III, passed away November 30, 2018. Beloved brother of Joan M. Ziska (James L., deceased) and the late Dorothy M. Milkovich (Eli); dear son of the late Dorothy (nee Sinclair) and John Michael Simcox II; loving uncle of Kathleen Ziska Terlizzi, Anthony Ziska (Teri) and Karen Ziska Garvin (Jeff); great-uncle of Amanda, Michael, Constance, Christopher and Angelina Terlizzi, Molly and Samuel Ziska, and Allison and Matthew Garvin. John was born September 21, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA. He had lived in Cleveland Heights before moving to Aurora, Ohio. John served in the U.S. Army with the rank of E-5 and was a Battalion Clerk. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and was rated an expert with the rifle. John worked at Picker International Phillips Medical Systems most of his adult life until retirement. John loved his family, reading and gardening. In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851. Graveside Service December 8, 2018 at Lake View Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
