GRACE H. McDONALD (nee McMullen). Born March 29, 1925. Passed away peacefully in her home on April 27 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 64 years to Don McDonald; dearest mother of Molly Dobrowski (husband Dr. John), Michael McDonald (wife Mary Beth), Jane Bissett (husband George) and D. E. "Chip" McDonald Jr. (wife Mary); loving grandmother of Michael, Kathryn Grace Sykes (Rob), Matthew (Helen), Caroline, Mary, Michael Jr. (Beth), Kevin, Kaitlin, Brendan and Connor; great-grandmother of Hope Dobrowski; devoted daughter of the late Grace and John F. McMullen; dear sister of Mary Scholl (Dave, deceased), Ann Van de Motter (deceased) (Bob) and the late Jack, Bob and Jim McMullen; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Grace and Don were married at St. Ann Church on May 29, 1952. She attended Notre Dame High School and graduated from Ursuline College in the Class of 1947. Grace was an active member of the Carmelite Guild, Gesu Parish, the Christ Child Society and the Ursuline Alumnae Association. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Grace to Gesu Church, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Hts., OH 44118, Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, 2600 Lander Rd., Pepper Pike, OH 44124 or Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110. Funeral Mass Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Gesu Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment private, Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD) FRIDAY 3-7 P.M.
