Dorothy (Loudon) Berlincourt, 89, died at her Mayfield Heights Home on August 21.
Born December 16, 1928, to William and Helen Loudon, Dorothy grew up mainly in the Washington, D.C. area. She graduated from Muskingum College and taught first grade at Solon Elementary School. In 1954 she married Don Berlincourt, her late husband of 55 years. The two lived in the Chagrin Falls area where she was an active member of The Federated Church and enjoyed reading and working in her garden.
Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Janet Berlincourt and Mary Ann Viveros; son-in-law, Arturo Viveros; granddaughter, Juanita Viveros; sister, Eleanor (Bill) Thomas; and four nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 15, at 3:30 p.m. at The Federated Church.
