THERESA “TERRY” BODI. Born January 23, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio, Terry passed away peacefully on January 4, 2018 in Cedar Park, Texas, just a few weeks shy of her 101st birthday. Beloved daughter of the late Istvan and Rose Bodi (nee Sebok); dearest mother of Stephen Bodi (wife Joy) and John Michael Bodi; loving grandmother of Kaolin, May and Rhys Bodi; dear aunt, cousin and friend to many. Terry had a zest for life and a strong, independent spirit. She was a nurturing caretaker of many and devoted her life to caring for her parents, her sons, and other children and adults. Her passions were gardening, baseball (Cleveland Indians), reading the newspaper, word puzzles and cooking. She absolutely adored her sons and her dogs. The Bodi family would like to thank the owners and staff of Covenant House in Cedar Park, Texas, for providing a kind and affectionate home environment to Terry in her last few years. Funeral Services Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., Rt. Rev. Dr. Csaba Krasznai officiating, at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD) where the family will receive friends WEDNESDAY FROM 10:00 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery.
