ARLENE C. MANGINA (nee Mead), age 82, passed away, October 13, 2016 in Alabama. A resident of Birmingham for the past few years, Arlene was born in East Cleveland, Ohio to Charlotte D. and Galen Floyd Mead and nearly a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Ohio. She was the loving wife of the late John F. Mangina; loving mother to Angela Mangina; caring Stepmom to Linda Butcher, Joseph “Jack” Mangina (deceased) (Debbie), and Kenneth Mangina; proud Grandmother of Melissa and Michael and Great-Grandmother; Sister of Robert Studinger, Sr. (deceased) (Bernice); dear Aunt; Sister-in-law to Dolly Flanagan (deceased) "Mike" (deceased) and the late Jim McCarty and Joe Mangina (Jeanne). Arlene will be dearly missed by her innumerable friends and family and fondly remembered and esteemed for her tireless and extensive charitable works throughout her lifetime, particularly in Eastern Star, Ladies Oriental Shrine, and numerous other Masonic organizations. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Eastern Star Service Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 3:00 p.m., conducted by Windermere Chapter No. 388, O.E.S., at the NICOL-WELLS-KLOSS-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD. LYNDHURST, OH 44124 (between Richmond and Brainard). The family will receive friends AT THE FUNERAL HOME FROM 2 P.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.
