RAYMOND N. FERRERI, M.D., age 96. Beloved husband of 61 years to Joyce (nee Weinsweig); dearest father of Susan Cameron (husband David), Steven Ferreri (wife Dorie) and Gregory P. Ferreri (wife Carey); loving grandfather of Lauren Milota (husband Daniel), Kathryn DeMarco (husband Eric), Gregory S. Ferreri (wife Christina), Ryan Ferreri, Angela Caraballo, Brittany Judy, Kaylie Ferreri and Nico Ferreri; great-grandfather of Avery Milota, Colin Milota, Gabriella Ferreri and Eleanora Ferreri; dear brother of Joan Fisher (Robert, deceased) and the late Eugene Ferreri, M.D. (Rosemary), Edward Ferreri, D.D.S. (Jeanne), Rita Chambers and Eleanor Visconsi; devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews. Raymond is also survived by his former son-in-law, Jack Schuster. U.S. Army Veteran, WWII. Ray was a psychiatrist, a member of Physicians for Social Responsibility and Cleveland Partner Cities, World Federalist. He was Medical/Administrative Director of Woodruff Memorial Institute, Medical Director of Ridgecliff Hospital, Heartland Behavioral Health, Chief of Staff at Marymount Hospital, Fellow of The American Psychiatric Association (F.A.P.A.) and President of The Cleveland Psychiatric Association. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Ray to Case Western Reserve Medical School, 2109 Adelbert Rd., Cleveland, OH 44106. Funeral Service Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD) where the family will receive friends THURSDAY 5-7 P.M. Interment private, All Souls Cemetery.
