John M. Lincoln, age 79, passed away May 31, 2013, in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
He was born January 19, 1934, in Newton, Kansas, and had lived in Kansas City, Kansas before moving to South Euclid, Ohio 34 years ago.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Lincoln was a Systems Analyst for Eaton Manufacturing for 5 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Parish and the Walleye Association in Fairport Harbor.
Survivors are his wife, Ann (nee Trefzger); children, Karen Lincoln, Michael Lincoln and LeAnn (Chris) Baker, all of Kansas City, KS; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother and sister, Robert (Sheila) Lincoln and Alice Scheve; brother-in-law, Gilbert; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lincoln was preceded in death by his sister, Mary L. Krier; and brother-in-law, Jerry Scheve.
The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Church. A private inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
